Thank you to all the ladies who joined us on Saturday morning. We were so blessed by our worship team and enjoyed getting to listen to great teaching and powerful testimonies on what it means to "hold fast" in the Lord. To hold fast means not just waiting in hard seasons, but trusting Jesus within them, participating in the growth of your faith, believing that His promises are true and encouraging each other always. It was a true joy worshipping our Lord Jesus with all of you.
Calling all C&C Women!! This Saturday, June 8th @ 9am, we are meeting for a morning of fellowship! Come expectant to see God work through worship, teaching and testimonies. A few weeks ago, Michael and Megan Tapp of Cross & Crown and Bridges took their ministry team down to Paradise, CA to help them in their time of need. Read more of their story below! - "Bridges in Seattle and San Francisco loaded 42 students and staff into vans and drove to Paradise, CA—the town you probably read about back in November when it was practically wiped off the map by a wildfire. We helped homeowners sift through the ashes of their properties looking for anything of value. We heard story after story of families who lost everything. We walked into a church unannounced with 20 of us asking how we can help. An hour of cleaning and shelf-building later, the pastor said we had accomplished what would have taken them a month to do. When we gathered to hear highlights of the students, almost every one stood up to openly share how their life had changed as a result of their experiences. Two of the UW girls joined us for church the Sunday after we returned. One told us, “After seeing how people in that community could lose everything, but tell us they still have hope in God...I want to learn more about a God like that.” Honestly, I can’t do an ounce of justice in communicating all that God did on this trip, but you need to know that your prayers and support were invaluable in bringing all of these students closer to Jesus. Each student experienced the gospel in a vibrant, tangible, emotionally effecting way. We can't wait to see what God has in store for them back on campus this week. Cross & Crown family, As you've probably noticed, we received quite a bit of snow last night and the forecast shows that the snow will continue for the next few days. Due to the danger involved with traveling the Seattle roads and with your safety in mind, the Elders at C&C have decided to cancel tomorrow's Sunday Services on February 10th. Please let your friends, Community Group, and church family know so that no one ventures out in these conditions. We want to ensure everyone is safe and warm over the next few days!
